BAe/MDD Harrier GR9, 3 Sqn RAF. Now retired from UK service, the Harrier was the only successful Vertical Take Off & Landing (VTOL) front line jet. In various forms, the Harrier has been in service for over forty years and is still operational with the US Marines, Indian, Italian and Spanish Navies.
