1920s & 1930s Aviation Art

The ‘Silver Wings’ period gives our aviation artists the chance to explore the colourful nature of aircraft in this period, whether civil or military. While military aircraft through much of period kept to the trusted bi-plane configuration, sports and competition aircraft were pushing technology forward and it is for aircraft such as the Supermarine S.6b and Macchi MC.72 that the era will be best remembered. We are also pleased to offer some airship paintings and prints as these also epitomise the era and may still have a second-coming in the near future.
